Erstens kommt es anders und zweitens als man denkt. Dieser Satz galt am vergangenen Samstag
auch für die Hostenbacher Gewichtheber. Die Gäste aus Speyer, deren Mannschaft durchaus 400
Punkte erzielen kann, kamen mit einer stark ersatzgeschwächten Mannschaft nach Hostenbach. Aus
Personalmangel trat die zweite Mannschaft des AV 03 Speyer mit nur fünf Hebern an. Der KSV, der dies erst kurz vor dem Abwiegen realisiert hat, reagierte entsprechend und änderte seine
Mannschaftsaufstellung kurzfristig.
Trainer Felix Rupp, der eigentlich erst wieder beim Saarderby für den KSV an die Hantel gehen wollte, wurde aufgestellt und Manuel Vaccaro und Dennis Nenno teilten das Reissen und Stossen unter
sich auf. Komplettiert wurde die Mannschaft durch Jessica Jaeger, Daniela Yasmin Neu, Peter Schorr und Hendrik Schmitt. Mit dieser Mannschaft ging der erste Punkt für das Reissen direkt mit 86,9
zu 49,5 nach Hostenbach. Gleiches galt für das Stossen und den Zweikampf. Das Endergebnis lautete somit 267,8 zu 199 für Hostenbach. Bester Heber war Rene Kassel aus Speyer mit 81 Punkten, dicht
gefolgt vom Hostenbacher Routinier Peter Schorr, der seine Form mit starken 80 Relativpunkten unter Beweis stellte. Mit diesem Sieg befindet sich der KSV Hostenbach nun auf dem dritten
Tabellenplatz hinter dem ungeschlagenen AC Mutterstadt II und AV 03 Speyer II.
